UoK Admissions 2025 Undergraduate Degree Programs
The University of Karachi UoK invites applications for online admissions to the Department of Visual Studies for the 2026 academic session. Offering some of the most sought-after creative degree programs in Pakistan, the department equips students with the professional skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the fields of visual arts, design, and architecture.
Programs Offered:
UoK Admissions Offered Following Undergraduate Degree Programs:
Bachelor of Fine Arts B.F.A. – 4 Years / 8 Semesters
Bachelor of Design B.Design – 4 Years / 8 Semesters
Bachelor of Architecture B.Arch – 5 Years / 10 Semesters
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Intermediate HSC or Equivalent with at least 2nd Division 50%
Diploma Holders from recognized Technical Boards with 60% or above are also eligible
Applicants seeking admission on Self-Financed or Reserved Seats must also fulfill these academic criteria
Grace/Condonation marks or raised division will not be considered.
Admission Procedure
Submit the Online Admission Form
Submission window: September 29, 2025 to October 10, 2025
Upload scanned copies of required documents
Submit the Admission Form specifically for the Department of Visual Studies
Application Fee Payment
Pay the Processing Fee: Rs. 5,000/-
Payment to be made via Bank Alfalah Islamic using the Online Generated Fee Voucher
Upload the scanned copy of the paid deposit slip with the online form
Admission Evaluation Criteria
Admissions will be based on the following selection weightage, after passing the Aptitude Test Minimum 50% marks required in the test:
20% – Academic Qualification HSC/Equivalent
60% – Aptitude Test
20% – Interview
Candidates must pass each component Test & Interview to qualify.
Aptitude Test is mandatory for all applicants, including those applying on self-financed or reserved seats.
Important Note
Applicants who do not submit the Visual Studies Department-specific Admission Form or fail the Aptitude Test will not be considered for admission under any category.
