University of the Punjab Undergraduate Admission Test 2026-27

Who Can Apply

• Students who have already passed their Higher Secondary School Certificate HSSC or equivalent Grade 12 education.
• Students who have appeared in the final examination of HSSC or equivalent and are currently awaiting their results.

Admission Test Categories

• PU-E: Pre-Engineering
• PU-M: Pre-Medical
• PU-AHS: Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences
• PU-CSP: ICS with Physics Combination
• PU-CSS: ICS with Statistics Combination
• PU-GS: General Science
• PU-COM: Commerce

Important Requirements and Exceptions

• Engineering Programs: The PU Admission Test is mandatory as per PEC regulations, though scores from E-CAT UET or NUST tests are also acceptable.
• LLB Programs: Both the Law Admission Test LAT and the PU Admission Test are mandatory for admission.
• Art & Design: The PU Admission Test is required along with a separate Drawing/Aptitude Test conducted by the College of Art & Design.
• Pharm-D: Either the MDCAT or the PU Admission Test is valid for admission to the Doctor of Pharmacy program.

Admission Schedule and Fee

• Registration Deadline: The last date for online registration for the PU Admission Test is 25th May, 2026.
• Test Date: Tentatively scheduled for 14th June, 2026.
• Test Fee: The non-refundable fee is PKR 2500/-.

• Download the fee challan during the online registration process.
• Pay the fee at any branch of HBL, UBL, or via Mobile Banking through 1 Bill.
• Upload an image of the proof of payment on the portal to complete the process.
