UHS Starts 7 New Professional Certificate for Health Sciences Students
University of Health Sciences has officially introduced seven new certificate programs designed to strengthen research abilities, clinical practice, laboratory quality standards, and scientific writing skills among health sciences students. The students can get the latest updates of UHS Starts 7 New Professional Certificate for Health Sciences Students.
New Training Courses Approved to Enhance Research and Clinical Expertise
The decision was finalized during the 225th session of the Advanced Studies and Research Board under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Ahsan Waheed Rathore.
One of the major additions is the Certificate in Quality Management for Clinical Laboratories and Blood Banking. This program aims to improve quality control systems and promote standardized procedures in diagnostic laboratories and blood transfusion services.
Alongside this, the board approved six additional certificate courses focusing on important academic and professional fields such as research methodology, clinical epidemiology, evidence-based medicine, clinical trial administration, research ethics, grant proposal writing, scientific communication, innovation, and translational research.
Among the newly launched programs are a Certificate in Research Methodology and Clinical Exposure for MBBS, BDS, and MSc in nursing students, as well as a specialized Certificate in Research Methodology and Laboratory Research Skills for students enrolled in allied health sciences disciplines.
The board also endorsed an advanced-level certificate course covering research methodology, biostatistics, clinical epidemiology, and evidence-based medicine to further enhance students’ analytical and scientific competencies.
Furthermore, approvals were granted for certificate programs in Clinical Trials Management, Grant Writing and Research Communication, Innovation and Translational Research, and Research Ethics and Bioethics.
During the same meeting, the board examined and approved thesis evaluation reports submitted by postgraduate students from various specialties, including pediatric surgery, anesthesia, pediatrics, radiology, and community medicine.
