UHS Extends Admission Deadlines for Medical & Dental Colleges
The University of Health Sciences UHS has announced an extension for online admissions to medical and dental colleges throughout Punjab. This move is intended to assist students and encourage a larger number of applicants. According to a UHS spokesperson, candidates applying to public sector medical colleges can now submit their applications until November 30, while the new deadline for private medical colleges has been set for December 15. Updated Deadlines for Dental College Admissions
For public dental colleges, the application deadline has been extended to December 31, and students seeking admission to private dental colleges for BDS programs can apply until January 15, 2026. Previously, the deadline for all applications was November 21. UHS officials emphasized that the revised schedule will provide students with additional time to complete their applications.
Approval of Deadline Extension
The Provincial Admission Committee approved the extension during a meeting chaired by Secretary of Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education, Azmat Mahmood, with vice chancellors of public medical universities in attendance. The committee reached a unanimous decision on the new deadlines to ensure broader participation in the admission process.
