UHS affiliated Allied Health Sciences Admission Schedule 2023-2024

I. Empowering Affiliated Colleges:

• Affiliated colleges are granted the liberty to advertise admissions and complete the admission process by 31st December 2023. • Decision derived from a joint meeting of Boards of Studies and Academic Council on 12th August 2023.

II. Commencement of Classes:

• Classes for Allied Health Sciences programs in affiliated colleges are set to commence from January 2024.

III. Online Registration:

• The online portal for submission of registration return for admitted students will remain open until 31st March 2024.

IV. Ensuring Merit and Transparency:

• Colleges are mandated to ensure adherence to merit, transparency, and fair play throughout the admission process. • Display of fee structures, other charges, lists of candidates, merit lists, and selection lists on college websites is mandatory. • The same information must be submitted to the university in print form before the commencement of classes.

V. Eligibility Criteria and MDCAT Clarification:

• Admissions will strictly adhere to the eligibility criteria prescribed by UHS. • Notably, the notification clarifies that the Medical and Dental College Admission Test MDCAT has not been prescribed as a requirement for admission to Allied Health Sciences programs.

Vigilance Against Violations:

Any deviation from the above directives is to be reported to the Syndicate, triggering the imposition of appropriate penalties as outlined in the Statutes for Admission of Medical Institutions to the Privileges of the University and Withdrawal of such Privileges.
