UHS Admissions 2025 Diploma & MCPS Programs

The University of Health Sciences UHS Lahore, in line with the policies issued by the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education SHC&ME Department, Government of Punjab on 22 August 2025, has announced the commencement of online applications for Level II Diploma Clinical/Basic courses and the MCPS program in public sector institutions of Punjab for the 2025-26 session.

Available Specialties/Disciplines

Candidates can apply in the following fields, subject to approval by the Degree Awarding Institution PMDC for Diplomas, CPSP for MCPS:

1–5:

Anesthesia

Radiology

Pathology

Radiotherapy

Obstetrics & Gynecology

6–10:

Pediatrics

Forensic Medicine

Ophthalmology

Psychiatry

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Academic Qualification: MBBS degree BDS for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from a PMDC-recognized institution.

Registration: Valid and permanent PMDC registration.

Service Requirement: Regular employment with the SHC&ME Department or Health & Population Department, Government of Punjab, with at least two years of service.

Peripheral Service if applicable: Health & Population Department employees must fulfill mandatory service requirements in peripheral areas as notified by the administrative department.

Merit & Scoring Criteria

Candidate merit will be calculated based on education, entrance test, and experience:

MBBS/BDS Aggregate Marks	30 points	Sum of marks in all professional exams ÷ Total marks in all professional exams × 20
Entrance Test	50 points	100 MCQs; no negative marking; passing = 50%
Government Service	10 points	2 points per complete year of service
Relevant Specialty Experience	10 points	2 points per complete year

Application Procedure

Online Application Only: Applications must be submitted via the UHS centralized portal:

Institution Preferences: Candidates must select institutions in order of preference; preferences can be edited until the deadline.

Required Documents: Upload CNIC, domicile, Matric & F.Sc certificates, MBBS/BDS degree, experience certificates, and other relevant documents.

Processing Fee: Rs. 2,000 non-refundable, payable through Bank of Punjab BOP or National Bank of Pakistan NBP using a portal-generated voucher. Upload the fee receipt to complete the application.

Only fully submitted applications with complete documents and fee payment will be considered.

Entrance Test

Date: Sunday, 28 December 2025

Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon

Format: 100 MCQs; no negative marking; passing marks = 50%

Weightage: 50% of total merit

Important Provisions

Admissions are strictly merit-cum-preference-based, per Government of Punjab policy dated 22.08.2025.

All merit and selection lists will be published online only.

Candidates must provide online consent within the stipulated time, or the seat will be offered to the next candidate.

Selected candidates will report to institutions only after official orders and notifications from the SHC&ME Department.

Financial Liability: No stipend or financial support will be provided by the Government of Punjab or SHC&ME Department for these Level II programs.
