Temporary School Closures Announced in KP
The district administration of Haripur has declared a three-day local holiday for all schools, both public and private, in light of the upcoming NA-18 by-election. Schools will remain closed on November 22, 23, and 24. Officials stated that this measure is intended to avoid any disruptions and ensure smooth conduct of election-related activities. With the by-election scheduled for November 23, the authorities emphasized suspending classes to prioritize public safety and facilitate orderly election arrangements. Winter Breaks Scheduled in Other Regions
Across the country, preparations are underway for winter vacations in various districts. In Balochistan, schools in colder areas will close for approximately two and a half months starting from December 16, giving students an extended winter break due to severe weather conditions. In Punjab, winter holidays are set to begin on December 23, 2025, and will continue until January 11, 2026, with schools reopening on January 12, 2026.
