SZABMU Releases Admission Test Schedule 2025 for UG Programs

Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University SZABMU Islamabad has officially released the SZABMU Admission Test Schedule 2025 for undergraduate programs. According to the university notification, the 2nd Admission Test Fall 2025 will be held on Thursday, 30th October 2025, at Islamabad and Mirpur AJK centers. The test is for candidates applying to various degree programs being offered at private affiliated institutes of SZABMU.

Programs Included in SZABMU Admission Test 2025

The SZABMU Admission Test Schedule for UG Programs 2025 includes the following degree programs:

Doctor of Physical Therapy DPT – 5 Years

BS Nursing Generic – 4 Years

B.Sc Nursing Post RN – 2 Years

BS Allied Health Sciences in Medical Laboratory Technology, Surgical Technology, Anesthesia Technology, Cardiac Perfusion, Dental Technology, Radiography & Imaging Technology, Emergency & Clinical Medicine, and Vision Sciences – 4 Years each.

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programs

For the DPT program, candidates must have at least 60% marks in F.Sc Pre-Medical, with no age limit. For BS Nursing Generic, the requirement is 50% marks in F.Sc Pre-Medical with an age limit of 14 to 35 years. For B.Sc Nursing Post RN, applicants must hold Matric with Science or Arts as per HEC notification, a Diploma in Nursing, and valid registration with the Pakistan Nursing Council PNC. Those working in government sectors must also provide an NOC from their department.

Application Process and Deadlines

Candidates can apply online through the SZABMU Islamabad portal using their CNIC and email ID. The last date to apply with a normal fee Rs. 3,000 is October 22, 2025 Wednesday, while applications with a late fee Rs. 6,000 will be accepted until October 27, 2025 Monday. The test fee can be paid digitally through any bank app or wallet using the 1-Bill Invoice system.

Test Format and Important Instructions

The admission test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions MCQs to be completed in 100 minutes. The passing marks are 50 out of 100, and the test validity is one year. Candidates awaiting F.Sc results are also eligible to apply.

Students are advised to download their roll number slips from the official website one week before the test date and arrive one hour before the commencement of the examination. They must bring their original CNIC/passport, admit card, clipboard, and blue or black ink pen to the test center.

University’s Message to Applicants

SZABMU has emphasized that candidates should only submit soft copies of their documents during online registration. Any discrepancy or submission of fake documents will result in immediate cancellation of admission. After passing the entry test, candidates will be eligible for admission to DPT, BS Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences programs.
