Summer Vacations in Islamabad Educational Institutions
Federal Directorate of Education FDE has declared the commencement of summer vacations for all educational institutions within the Islamabad Capital Territory. According to the announcement, summer vacations will begin from June 10 and will extend until July 31. The students can get the latest updates regarding Summer Vacations in Islamabad Educational Institutions.
Schedule for Educational Activities
During this period, undergraduate classes BS/ADP programs will continue as per the regular semester calendar without interruption.
Enhancement of Infrastructure and Operations
Educational institutions will utilize the summer break to improve their infrastructure and operational efficiency. This includes activities such as physical stock verification and the repair and maintenance of furniture, buildings, and playgrounds.
Continuing Professional Development Sessions
In the last week of July, in-house sessions for continuing professional development CPD will be conducted. These sessions aim to equip teaching staff with updated skills and methodologies, enhancing their effectiveness in the classroom.
Engagement of Teaching Staff
Heads of educational institutions have been tasked with actively involving teachers in these CPD sessions and utilizing their expertise to efficiently accomplish assigned tasks. Teachers will also participate in training sessions, with the schedule to be communicated to them in due course by the regulator overseeing Islamabad’s government schools and colleges.
