Summer vacations announced for Punjab schools
Punjab’s Education Minister, Rana Sikandar Hayat, has declared that summer vacations for all public and private schools in punjab will commence earlier than initially planned due to the ongoing severe heatwave. Revised Summer Vacantion Dates
Originally, the summer holidays were set to begin on June 1; however, the new schedule advances the start date to May 28. This change is a precautionary measure in response to soaring temperatures posing health risks to students.
School Timings Until Summer Vacation in Punjab
To help students cope with the heat before the summer break starts, the Education Minister announced that schools timings until summer vacation will now operate from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM until May 27. These adjusted school hours are effective immediately.
