STEVTA Announces Matric Technical Admissions Across Sindh
The Sindh Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority has officially released its admission notice for the 2026-2027 academic year. Aimed at empowering the youth through skill-based education, the authority is inviting applications for Matric Technical and the Technical School Certificate TSC for Classes IX and X. This initiative by the Government of Sindh is designed to open doors to sustainable employment and honorable livelihoods through technical expertise.
Regional Institute Clusters and Skills Offered
The STEVTA Admissions 2026 cycle covers a vast network of Government Vocational Institutes GVI, Government Schools of Commerce GCT, and Government Monotechnic Institutes across major Sindh hubs including:
- Karachi Region: Numerous institutes in PECHS, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Landhi, and Korangi.
- Interior Sindh: Active enrollment in Hyderabad, Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, and Mirpurkhas.
Students can enroll in various STEVTA Courses 2026 such as Computer Science, Internet of Things IoT, Software Development, Graphic Designing, General Electrician, Auto Mechanic, and Solar/Plumbing technologies.
Eligibility and Application Procedures
The program is open to students who have passed the Middle school level Grade 8, with an upper age limit of 30 years. Notably, STEVTA has reserved a 6% quota for Persons with Disabilities PWDs to ensure inclusive education.
To begin the process, candidates must STEVTA Apply Online or obtain forms from the listed institutes. The deadline for form submission is April 10, 2026, followed by the display of the merit list on April 13, 2026. Classes are scheduled to commence on April 15, 2026.
