Sindh Updates Winter Clothing Guidelines for Private School
The Sindh Education Department has announced that private schools are no longer allowed to mandate students to wear winter jackets of particular colors or designs. This decision comes under the guidance of Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah. Freedom to Choose Warm Clothing
According to a notification from the Directorate of Private Institutions, all private schools across Sindh must allow students to wear any warm clothing of their choice. Additional Director Rafia Javed emphasized that no school can force students to buy or wear a jacket in a specific style or color. Schools that fail to comply with this directive may face disciplinary action.
Student Comfort and Health Are a Priority
Education Minister Sardar Shah highlighted that children’s health and comfort should be the main concern during the winter season. He added that students have the right to select any winter jacket they consider suitable, and schools should not pressure parents into purchasing specific winter uniforms.
