Sindh to Revise Matric & FSc Exam Schedule 2024
Sindhs Minister for Universities and Boards, Muhammad Ali Malkani, has announced a significant change in the academic calendar, stating that starting next year, the annual matric and intermediate exams will be conducted in March rather than during the peak summer months. The students can get the fresh information of Sindh to Revise Matric & FSc Exam Schedule.
Alignment with National Schedule
During the opening ceremony of a new facilitation center at the Karachi Inter Board, Malkani revealed that this change would synchronize Sindh’s exam schedule with the rest of the country. When asked about the previous summer schedule, Malkani explained that discussions with the education minister led to the decision to move the exams to March.
Addressing Heat-Related Issues
The decision comes in response to incidents earlier this year where numerous students fainted during exams due to extreme heat and load-shedding at various centers across the province. This situation spurred the government to reconsider the timing of the examinations to ensure a more comfortable environment for students.
Transition to Technology-Based Assessment
Malkani also announced that Sindh would be moving towards technology-based assessments to minimize human intervention in the examination process. He stated, “By 2025, we will implement an e-marking system for exams.”
