Sindh Revises School and College Timings
Sindh School Education & Literacy Department has announced new operational hours for all public and private schools and colleges across the province, effective August 1, 2025. These updated timings will be applicable to institutions operating in both single and double shifts, covering primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools, as well as government and private colleges. Classes will resume on August 1 following the conclusion of summer holidays on July 31. The students can get the latest updates of Sindh Education Department Revises School and College Timings from August 1.
Updated Timings for Schools:
Single-Shift Primary Schools:
- Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Double-Shift Primary Schools:
- First Shift:
- Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Second Shift:
- Daily: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Single-Shift Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools:
- Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Double-Shift Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools:
- First Shift:
- Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM
- Second Shift:
- Daily: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Updated Timings for Colleges:
Morning Shift:
- Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Evening Shift:
- Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM
The department has instructed all educational institutions to implement the revised timings without exception starting from August 1, 2025.
