Sindh Declares Winter Break for Schools and Colleges
The Sindh Education Department has released the schedule for winter vacations for all educational institutions across the province. The decision was confirmed during a meeting of the department’s steering committee, which approved the annual winter break for both public and private schools and colleges. Duration of the Winter Break
According to the department’s spokesperson, schools and colleges in Sindh will be closed for winter holidays from December 22 to December 31. Academic activities will resume on January 1, following the regular schedule.
Examinations to Continue as Planned
The spokesperson emphasized that any supplementary examinations organized by the education boards will proceed as scheduled during the holiday period. This ensures that important exam timelines are not disrupted.
Purpose of the Winter Vacation
The department explained that the winter break is designed to give students and teachers a short seasonal respite while maintaining the overall academic calendar without delays.
