Sindh Declares School Holiday
Sindh School Education and Literacy Department has announced that all public and private schools across the province will remain closed on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in observance of Shab-e-Meraj. The decision, notified on January 13, follows a resolution passed by the Sub-Committee of the Steering Committee on Education during its meeting on November 28, 2024. The students can check the fresh information that Sindh Declares School Holiday.
All Schools in Sindh to Close for Shab-e-Meraj
This order applies to all educational institutions under the administrative control of the Sindh School Education and Literacy Department. Authorities have been instructed to ensure strict adherence to the notification, and copies have been shared with relevant government offices, district education authorities, regulatory bodies, and information departments for implementation and public awareness.
