Sindh Adjusts School Timings Amid Cold Wave
The Sindh government has announced a change in school timings across the province in response to the ongoing cold spell. As per a notification from the Sindh Education Department, all public and private schools will now start at 9:00 am, while closing times will remain the same. New School Schedule Introduced to Shield Students from Harsh Cold
Officials explained that the adjustment aims to protect students from freezing morning temperatures, which have affected several regions of the province.
Meanwhile, neighboring Punjab has taken more stringent measures by extending winter vacations for schools, keeping educational institutions closed for a longer duration due to severe cold. Punjab authorities stated that the decision prioritizes students’ health and safety during extreme weather conditions.
