SIMS SIUT BS Admission 2024
Sindh Institute of Medical Sciences SIMS Karachi, in collaboration with the Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation SIUT, introduces an array of undergraduate degree programs, recognized by the Higher Education Commission HEC Pakistan. This initiative, established by the Sindh Provincial Assembly Act-200SIMS-SIUT9, aims to foster excellence in medical education.
Applications are now open for aspiring candidates to enroll in various programs, including BS in Medical Technology specializing in Anaesthesia and Critical Care Sciences, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Diagnostic Radiology, Dialysis and Critical Care Sciences, Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy, Operation Theater Sciences, Respiratory Therapy, and Critical Care Sciences.
Eligibility criteria for admission in these programs mandate candidates to hold Intermediate Science Pre-Medical or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board or institute, with a minimum aggregate of 60%. Prospective applicants must also hold permanent residency in Sindh and adhere to a maximum age limit of 22 years.
Additionally, a specialized BS Nursing-Generic program tailored exclusively for female candidates mandates a minimum aggregate of 50% in Intermediate Science Pre-Medical or its equivalent. Applicants must be permanent residents of Sindh and under the age of 25.
For individuals seeking a Nursing Assistant certification, the eligibility criteria stipulate similar academic prerequisites with an age limit of 22 years.
Admissions are exclusively online through the SIMS-SIUT website with the deadline for submission set for December 4, 2023. The application process strictly prohibits submissions via email or in person.
Eligible candidates will undergo an entry test, the details of which will be communicated via SMS and email. Successful candidates will proceed to an in-person interview.
