Schools to reopen from Class 9-12 from January 18
Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood said in a press conference in Islamabad that the cases of Corona are still on the rise, education has suffered a lot in the last eight months and the ability to learn goes down due to closure of educational institutions.
All other educational institutions, that is class 1 to 8 and universities will reopen on Feb 1. In the meantime education minister review the situation city wise next week.
The start of classes 1 to 8 has been delayed by a week and will now open on February 1 instead of January 25. The Education Minister said that the situation would be reconsidered next week and the NCOC meeting would further review the spread of the epidemic in the cities.
