Islamabad, Federal Ministry of Education sent the proposals to the provinces that the primary school may be closed from 24 November to 31 January 2021. As the coronavirus pandemic is increasing all over the country and there is impending threat of this disease, which can affect the young kids of primary class so federal government is considering the closing of the primary classes in order to ensure their protection and also keep them safe from mingling with other students in their classes. Federal Education Ministry Proposes to Close Primary School from 24 Nov to 31 Jan.

Federal Government is thinking over the issue to close primary classes from 24 November and middle school from 02 December. The provincial education ministers conference will be held on 23 November and the final decision will be made after reaching on the consensus on the educational institutes closing by considering the increasing number of COVID-19 cases across the country. The provincial education minister said that the winter vacations will be extended this year than usual because of the Coronavirus impact. National Command and Control Center meeting is scheduled late November and the final decision on this matter will be taken there.

NCC Important Decisions

National Coordination Committee imposed ban on gathering of people in large number because of the coronavirus pandemic. NCC also banned outdoor gatherings, in which people attended the gathering more than 300 attendees. The management of any event will be responsible for the implementation of COVID-19 Standing Operating Procedures.

NCC is going to put ban on indoor gatherings from 20 November and the outdoor events will be allowed with maximum number of attendants of 300. NCC is also going to conduct another meeting next week in which the matter of indoor dining at the restaurants will be banned and people will be asked to eat outdoors or they may take food to their homes. Local authorities will be responsible to ensure that people wear face masks in all crowded places and also keep social distancing from others.
