Schools Closed in Swat and Malakand for one Week
The authorities have announced the closure of all government and private schools in Swat and Malakand for a week. A formal notification has been issued by the administration stating that the decision was made due to the anticipated risks of heavy rainfall, possible floods, and landslides. The students can get the latest updates of Educational Institutions in Swat and Malakand Shut for One Week.
Schools to Remain Closed Amid Weather Concerns
As per the notification, schools in the flood-affected regions will remain closed until August 25. It is important to mention that the recent monsoon rains and floods have caused severe destruction in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where 373 people have lost their lives in different incidents, while many others are still unaccounted for and rescue operations are underway.
