Scholarship Opportunity for Kashmiri Students
Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan is pleased to announce educational stipends for students from Azad Kashmir, Jammu, and Kashmir refugees. This scholarship aims to support deserving students in pursuing higher education in recognized institutions across Pakistan and AJ&K for the calendar year 2023. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be either A.K. Nationals or J&K Refugees, nominated by the Ministry, Secretary, Nomination Board, AJ&K, or have obtained admission on a general merit basis. Applicants must have been enrolled during the period from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023. The scholarship is applicable for the following fields:
- MBBS
- BDS
- DVM
- B.Sc Engg/IT
- B.Sc Hon. Agri
- B.Com/BBA
- Polytechnic
- Pharmacy
Application Process
Applicants are required to submit attested copies of their State Subject Certificate/Domicile/Marks Sheets, NCC Certificate, etc., along with the application form. Only students with a minimum of 50% marks in their last examination are eligible for consideration. Incomplete or late applications, as well as those with any misstatements, will be rejected. Any attempt to tamper with the application form or certificates will result in disqualification.

Verification and Further Details
Certificates such as mark sheets and domicile will be verified by the relevant authorities. Strict action will be taken against any instances of forgery. Students currently receiving stipends from other sources are not eligible to apply. Applications for courses other than those specified will not be considered. Renewal of stipends for previous recipients will be based on their progress and promotion reports from their institutions.
Application Submission
The prescribed application form, available on the KA&GB Divisions website www.kana.gov.pk, must be completed in all respects and submitted by registered post to the undersigned no later than May 31, 2024. Applications received prior to the publication of this advertisement will not be accepted.
