Scholarship Opportunities Offered through LUMS

Lahore University of Management Sciences LUMS, one of Pakistan’s leading not-for-profit universities, has announced applications for its National Outreach Program NOP for 2026. This initiative aims to provide highly talented but financially deserving students from across Pakistan with the opportunity to study at LUMS through fully funded scholarships.

The NOP program has been designed to ensure that capable students who cannot afford higher education still get access to world-class academic opportunities. Selected students receive 100% scholarship coverage along with additional financial support, allowing them to pursue their undergraduate education at LUMS without financial burden.
About the National Outreach Program NOP
The National Outreach Program is a special initiative by Lahore University of Management Sciences to identify and support talented students from different regions of Pakistan. Through this program, deserving students are given academic preparation, guidance, and financial assistance so they can successfully secure admission to LUMS.

Eligibility Criteria
Students who wish to apply for the NOP program must meet the following requirements:
•Applicants must have at least 80% marks in Matriculation or O-Levels.
•Students should not have the financial resources to pursue higher education independently.
•Candidates must demonstrate strong academic ability and motivation to continue higher studies.

Application Process

Students who meet the eligibility requirements can apply through the following stages:
Step 1 – Online Application for NOP
Students should apply for the program while studying in the first year of Intermediate or A-Levels. Applicants who are expected to start university in Fall 2027 are eligible to apply in 2026.

Step 2 – Summer Coaching Session
Shortlisted candidates are invited to attend a Summer Coaching Session at LUMS. This program is conducted during the summer holidays and helps students prepare for university admissions.
All major expenses, except travel costs, are covered by Lahore University of Management Sciences. Participation in this session provides valuable academic exposure, although it does not guarantee admission or scholarship.

Step 3 – Admission Test Registration
Students who successfully complete the coaching session receive further support. LUMS pays the registration fee for one admission test for these students, enabling them to apply for undergraduate admission.

Step 4 – LUMS Admission Application
After completing the coaching session, students must submit a formal admission application to LUMS through the official portal:

Applicants who fulfill the academic and admission requirements may be awarded NOP scholarships for their undergraduate studies.
