SBTE Announces Revised Curriculum for Matric Tech & TSC Programs
Karachi, The Sindh Board of Technical Education SBTE has officially approved the Revised and Updated Curriculum for Matric Tech & TSC Programs for Classes IX and X.
According to an official notification, the curriculum has been updated with the approval and upon the recommendation of the committee Notification.
The new curriculum will be implemented from the next academic session 2026–2027 across all affiliated technical institutions in Sindh.
The revised curriculum applies to the following eight major trades:
- General Electrician
- Machinist
- Auto Mechanic
- Computer Science
- Mechanical Drafting
- Welding
- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Technical Drawing of All Trades
An SBTE spokesperson emphasized that the updated syllabus aligns with modern industrial requirements, market-driven skills, and digital innovation trends. The reform aims to prepare students with practical expertise and employability skills demanded by today’s technical sectors.
