SBP To Discontinue Rs 25000 Prize Bonds
The State Bank of Pakistan SBP took an initiative to discontinue the prize bond of Rs 25,000 according to the 27th point action plan of Financial Action Task Force (FATF). The prize bond holders will now withdraw the Rs 25,000 prize bonds in phases now. This prize bond is to be transformed into prime bonds. The SBP will start registration soon. For registration the prize bond holders will have to submit a CNIC copy and a form. The prize bond of Rs 25,000 will be directly transferred to the holder’s account.
