SBP Announces Merit Scholarship Scheme 2024-25




 The State Bank of Pakistan SBP is pleased to announce the Merit Scholarship Scheme 2024-25 exclusively for the talented children of its serving, retired, or deceased employees up to OG-2 level. The scheme provides financial assistance to support studies at Intermediate, Graduation, Post-Graduation, and Diploma levels.

Eligibility Criteria
Children of SBP employees serving, retired, or deceased up to OG-2 level.
Must have secured ‘A Plus’, ‘A’, or ‘B’ grades or at least 60% marks in Matriculation/Intermediate/Graduation examinations.
Admission must be in a recognized educational institution in Pakistan during 2023 or later.
Students cannot be receiving a scholarship from any other institution or the government.
The duration of the enrolled program must be clearly stated and supported with documentary evidence. Minimum duration for diplomas: 6 months.

Note: For GPA/CGPA systems, a certificate from the institution stating the grading policy and corresponding percentages must be provided.

Scholarships are available for all disciplines at:
Intermediate / A-Levels
Graduation / Undergraduate
Post-Graduation / Masters
Diplomas minimum duration six months

Eligible Educational Institutions:
Colleges, Universities, Technical Training Institutes, and other HEC, BISE, IBCC, NAVTTC, PEC, PMDC, TEVTA recognized institutions.

 Admissibility & Conditions
Scholarships are granted strictly based on merit and the prescribed quota for each course.
Cannot be claimed twice for the same level of education.
Scholarship may be withdrawn if the student fails or does not appear in exams.
In case of genuine hardships illness, family loss, etc., continuation may be considered on a case-by-case basis with supporting documents.
Subsequent disbursements depend on submission of a progress report of the last examination undertaken.
