Sargodha Board New Marks Improvement Rules 2026
Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Sargodha has issued an official notification regarding changes in the marks improvement policy. During a PBCC meeting held on February 18, 2026, a proposal to revise the existing rules was thoroughly reviewed and approved. The decision was made in the best interest of students, following recommendations from the Secretary of BISE Sargodha. Updated Guidelines for Enhancing Academic Marks
According to the updated policy, students will still have the opportunity to improve their marks in one or more subjects. However, unlike the previous system, candidates can now also opt for improvement even if they have not completed all subjects. The revised rules allow for better comparison between previous and new results, ensuring that students benefit from higher marks. Additionally, if a student is absent in certain subjects or has incomplete results, their previous performance may be considered for compiling the final result. In such cases, the outcome will be labeled as “Marks Improved.”
The Chairman of the Sargodha Board has approved the implementation of these revised rules, following the PBCC decision, and the new policy will be applied in upcoming Exams.
