Revises School Timings due to severe heatwave in KPK
In response to the persistent heatwave affecting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial education department has introduced revised school timings for all public and private institutions. The decision is aimed at safeguarding students’ well-being during the ongoing spell of extreme weather. The students can get fresh updates of Revises School Timings due to severe heatwave in KPK.
Updated Timings for Schools Across the Province
As per the official notification issued on Tuesday, the new timings have been implemented with immediate effect. Schools will now commence at 7:15 AM daily.
Primary schools: 7:15 AM to 11:40 AM
Middle and high schools: 7:15 AM to 12:15 PM
Health and Safety at the Core of the Decision
The education department highlighted that the change was prompted by the sharp rise in temperatures, posing serious health risks to students. The revised schedule is a preventive measure to limit students’ exposure to heat during school hours.
Applicable to All Educational Institutions
The updated timings are mandatory for both government and private schools throughout the province. Authorities have urged strict compliance and advised schools to continue with the new hours until further notice to ensure student safety.
