Revised School Timings and New Investigation Launched by Punjab Govt
School Education Department SED of Punjab has introduced new operational hours for schools across the province. As per the latest official notice, schools will now function from 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM from Monday to Thursday, while on Fridays, school hours will be shortened to 8:45 AM to 12:45 PM. The students can get the latest updates of Revised School Timings and New Investigation Launched by Punjab Govt.
Double-Shift and Afternoon School Timings
For schools operating in double shifts or in the afternoon, the updated schedule will be from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on weekdays, Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, the hours will be adjusted to run from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
High-Level Committee Formed to Investigate Abuse Case
In a separate development, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has assembled a high-level committee of seven members to investigate an abuse case at a private college. This decision follows growing concerns over the incident.
Committee Members and Responsibilities
The Chief Secretary has been designated as the head of this special committee. Other members include the Secretaries from departments such as Home, Higher Education, Health, and Special Education, among others. Together, they are tasked with collecting evidence, recording statements, and thoroughly reviewing all aspects of the case.
Report Submission Deadline
The committee is also responsible for assessing the police’s role in the investigation as well as the response of the college administration. The investigative team has been ordered to submit a comprehensive report to the Chief Minister within 48 hours.
