Reopening of Schools in Lahore and Multan Due to Decrease in Smog
Educational institutions in Lahore and Multan have reopened following a notable reduction in smog levels. The educational institutes in various cities of Punjab were closed due to worst condition of the smog in these areas. It was reported that the AQI of various cities of Pakistan was ped to the low level and the weather conditions were not good for most of the people and various diseases were spread in these cities. Now the government has made the decision to re-open the schools and colleges in various cities and the students, teachers and parents can note Decrease in Smog Leads to Reopening of Schools in Lahore and Multan.
Adjusted School Timings for Safety
Officials have announced that schools timing in both cities will now begin no earlier than 8:45 a.m. to ensure safety and convenience. The students, teachers and parents should note the timings of the schools of their kids.
Mandatory Mask Usage
Students and teachers are required to wear masks during school hours as a precautionary measure against air pollution. These masks and other precautionary measures can save the students, teaching and admin staff from the worst effects of the smog.
Ban on Outdoor Activities
Outdoor sports and co-curricular activities in schools remain strictly prohibited to minimize exposure to harmful air particles.
Staggered Dismissal to Reduce Traffic
To ease traffic congestion, schools have implemented staggered dismissal timings based on class levels.
