Rawalpindi Schools to Start Earlier Than 8:45AM
The Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Rawalpindi has announced revised school hours for all educational institutions in the Cantt and City subdivisions due to ongoing construction at Katchery Chowk. The students can get the latest updates of Rawalpindi Schools to Start at 7:45 AM Amid Katchery Chowk Construction.
New School Timings Implemented for Student Safety and Traffic Management
As per the official notification issued on November 5, 2025, schools in these areas will now open at 7:45 a.m. and close at 12:45 p.m., effective until further notice.
The adjustment has been made to ensure student safety and facilitate smoother traffic flow around the heavily congested construction zone. The notice has been shared with senior officials, including the Chief Secretary of Punjab, the Secretary to the Chief Minister, and the Secretaries of the Higher and School Education Departments.
