Rawalpindi Board Issues Revised Dates for Postponed Exams
Rawalpindi –Rawalpindi Board of Education has officially announced new dates for the examinations that were previously postponed amid escalating tensions between Pakistan and India. According to Board Chairman Muhammad Adnan Khan, matric practical exams will now be conducted on May 27 and May 29, while intermediate papers are scheduled for May 31 and June 16. Exam Centers and Roll Number Slips Information
Students will continue to appear at their originally assigned examination centers. Although new roll number slips have been made available on the Rawalpindi Board official website, previously issued slips will also be considered valid for the revised exam dates.
Civics Paper Adjustment and Policy Update
Chairman Muhammad Adnan Khan also confirmed that the Civics Part 2 exam has been canceled. Students will instead be awarded marks based on their performance in Civics Part 1, ensuring fair evaluation in light of the cancellation.
Background of the Postponement Decision
It is important to recall that the Rawalpindi Board had delayed exams scheduled for May 7 and 8 due to the threat of conflict between Pakistan and India. With the situation now stabilized, the board has moved forward with a revised date sheet to resume the exam process.
