Quaid-e-Azam University Closes Because of COVID-19 Cases
The administration of Quaid-e-Azam University has made the announcement to close the university as there are some of the coronavirus cases, which are confirmed now. QAU registrar has issued the official statement and the university will be closed on 26 October because of the outbreak of the coronavirus disease on its campus.
The classes will be organized online and the university transport will remain suspended until further notices. The students should visit the official website and they will find the detailed information of this notification and notify future course of action. The administration of the university has not shared the information whether the cases were reported among day scholars, staff members, hostel residents or the faculty staff.
District Health Officer has revealed that there are 186 people tested the positive on Saturday and 157 students were tested positive for coronavirus on the Sunday. The administration has imposed the smart lock down in different parts of the city to stop the transmission of this virus by sealing ten streets.
