PWWS Announces Workers Children Admission in WWS 2023-24
Punjab Workers Welfare Schools have made announcement regarding free education to the children of the workers in their welfare schools. The admissions are offered to the students of the workers all over the province for the academic session 2023-24. The candidates can send their application forms by the closing date of 20-03-2023. The children of the workers can apply for admission in these schools and the 20% quota is allotted to the private students in each class and they can seek admission in Worker Welfare Schools on the vacant seats. Eligibility Criteria
The workers should need these criteria:
• The person, who is qualified as labor department, under the existing rules, they can apply for admission.
• The worker must have valid social security card.
• The worker should have minimum work experience of 3 years but Category 1 is exempted from this requirement
• Workers or minors should be covered by EOBI or social security. If they are non-covered, they can have undertaking, which is mentioned in the ad.
• The organization of the worker should be registered under Factories act or Mines Act and they pad 2% workers welfare fund or 5% under Worker Participation act 1968.
• Children of deceased or disabled workers are also eligible, registered under EOBI / Social Security and his widow / legal heir got death grant from Punjab Worker Welfare Board.
