PWWF Announces Fully-Funded Scholarship Programs 2025

The Punjab Workers Welfare Fund PWWF, under the Department of Labor and Human Resources, Government of Punjab, in collaboration with COMSATS University Islamabad and its campuses in Abbottabad, Wah, Attock, Lahore, Sahiwal, and Vehari, is offering 100 fully-funded scholarships for children of industrial and mining workers for the Spring 2026 semester.

This initiative aims to provide educational opportunities to children of active, retired, disabled, or deceased industrial and mining workers.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Worker Verification Documents:

National Identity Card of the worker.

Registration Certificate under Factories Act 1934 or Punjab Mining Concession Rules 2002, verified by the relevant labor/mining office.

Service Certificate of the worker verified by the District Labor Office.

Family Registration Certificate or B-Form of the student issued by NADRA.

Social Security Card or Old Age Benefits Card of the worker.

For retired workers, retirement certificate verified by the relevant labor/mining office.

Special Cases:

Children of disabled or deceased workers must provide proof of disability pension or death grant approval.

Applicants must submit an E-Stamp affidavit declaring that they are dependent on the worker and will complete their education.

Scholarship Conditions:

Students leaving education incomplete must return all funds received from the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund.

Applicants must not have previously received an equivalent scholarship.

Providing false information will result in legal action under relevant laws.

Minimum Employment Requirement for Worker:

Total service of at least 3 years.

Contributions to Social Security or EOBI for at least 9 months in the last 12 months.

Widows or legal heirs of deceased workers must also meet these conditions.

Applicants should apply online via the relevant COMSATS campus website and submit all verified documents by courier to the respective admission office. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
