Punjab University Undergraduate Entry Test 2024
The University of Punjab, Lahore, has announced the schedule for the PU Entry Test for undergraduate admissions in 2024. Prospective applicants must participate in this mandatory test to be considered for admission to the universitys undergraduate programs. Test Schedule:
- The PU Entry Test is scheduled to take place on June 09, 2024.
- The deadline for applying for the PU Entry Test 2024 is May 17, 2024.
Eligibility:
Students who have completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate HSSC or equivalent, or those who have appeared in the final examination of HSSC or equivalent and are awaiting results, are eligible to apply for the PU Entry Test 2024.

Test Categories:
The Entry Test will be conducted in seven categories based on relevant academic streams/disciplines, including Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Computer Science, General Science, Commerce, and Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences.
Test Pattern:
- The test consists of five sections, each comprising 20 questions.
- Sections include Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and three subject-specific sections.
- Each section carries equal weightage in the test.
Merit Calculation:
The admission test holds a weightage of 25% in the overall merit calculation for admissions.

- Interested candidates can register for the Entry Test through the universitys admission portal.
- The test fee is PKR 2000/-, non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Applicants must download the fee challan from the admission portal and pay at designated banks.
- Proof of payment must be uploaded to the portal to complete the application process.
Additional Information:
- Admission to Engineering Programs relies solely on ECAT or NUST Test scores.
- Both LAT and PU Admission Tests are mandatory for LLB Programs.
Admission notices for various programs will be advertised separately in national dailies and on the universitys official website.
