Punjab University BSCS Practical Thesis Exam Schedule April 2026
The University of the Punjab PU has officially released the practical and thesis date sheet for BS Computer Science 4-Year Program. This schedule pertains to the 7th and 8th Semesters for the Fall 2025 session, with examinations scheduled to take place in April 2026. Students preparing for their Final Year Projects FYP can now access the complete departmental timeline to ensure they meet their evaluation deadlines.
Examination Schedule and Timings
The PU university has organized the practical assessments into two distinct time slots to accommodate multiple student groups.
- Morning Session: Groups 1, 3, 5, and 7 will begin their evaluations at 09:00 AM.
- Afternoon Session: Groups 2, 4, 6, and 8 are scheduled for 01:00 PM.
Key Dates for Semester VII and VIII
For the 7th Semester, the evaluation for Final Year Project-I Code: CC-411 is spread across several days based on location.
- Lahore District: Exams will be held on April 13, 2026.
- Other Districts: Evaluations are scheduled from April 14 to April 16, 2026.
Additionally, the university has scheduled a Re-Sit examination for Semester VIII. The evaluation for Final Year Project-II Code: CC-412 for Group-1 will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026.
Official Authorization
The notification, numbered 104/Cond. D.S., was issued on February 26, 2026, by the office of the Controller of Examinations. It is signed by Muhammad Shahid Sharif, the Deputy Controller Conduct. Students are advised to verify their assigned group and district to avoid any confusion on the day of their practical exam.
