Punjab Schools Winter Vacations 2024 Schedule
Lahore, The Punjab School Education Department has officially declared the schedule for winter vacations across all schools in the province. According to Secretary Khalid Nazir Wattoo, educational institutions will observe holidays starting December 20, extending through January 10 of the upcoming year.
This announcement provides much-needed clarity for students, parents, and teachers planning their winter activities. The 21-day holiday period is expected to give students a chance to rejuvenate before resuming their academic schedules in the new year.
Meanwhile, the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Rawalpindi has delayed practical exams that were originally set for Monday. This decision aligns with the federal governments declaration of a public holiday in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Tanveer Asghar Awan, the Controller of Examinations, assured that new dates for the postponed exams will be shared soon. However, he emphasized that this rescheduling applies only to Rawalpindi, as exams in other districts will proceed according to the pre-set timetable.
The affected practicals include those for Intermediate Physics and Health and Physical Education, which were planned for November 13.
