Punjab Schools Extend Winter Vacations Amid Harsh Weather Conditions
In response to the ongoing severe cold weather and smog, the Punjab School Education Department has decided to prolong the winter vacations for both public and private educational institutions. Originally, the winter vacations were scheduled from December 18, 2023, to January 1, as announced by Punjabs caretaker Chief Minister. However, the decision to extend the break was made in light of the extreme weather conditions, prioritizing the health and safety of the school community.
