Punjab Resume Academic Activities in All Educational Institutions
Punjab’s Education Minister, Rana Sikandar Hayat, has officially declared that all schools, colleges, and universities in the province will reopen starting tomorrow. This marks the end of the temporary suspension of academic operations that was implemented as a safety measure. The students can get the fresh updates of Punjab to Resume Academic Activities in All Institutions from Monday.
The announcement came via the minister’s social media platform, where he stated, “Inshallah all schools, colleges and universities to resume classes tomorrow,” indicating that academic routines will resume across the region. His statement provided reassurance to students, parents, and educators.
Earlier, educational institutions had been closed until Sunday, May 11, due to precautionary concerns amid national developments. The closure was ordered by the provincial government as a proactive step to manage the prevailing situation and safeguard public welfare.
Authorities justified the decision by emphasizing the importance of maintaining safety during a critical time. The government viewed the suspension of academic sessions as necessary to minimize risks and maintain order across Punjab during a sensitive phase.
With stability reportedly returning, the government has now deemed it appropriate to restore regular academic functions. From Monday onward, all educational institutions in Punjab will resume their standard operations, bringing relief to students and staff alike.
