Punjab Offers Free IT Training to 1 Million Young Students
The Chief Minister of Punjab has announced the free training in IT to about 1 million young students in the province. The government will extend its free IT training to large number of students, which can help them to become self-sufficient. The young candidates can get detailed information that Punjab Trains 1 Million Youngsters in IT Freely.
Punjab Information Technology Board PITB and Re-Skills have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the learners, who want to get IT knowledge online. The youngsters will get the free IT training under this MoU and millions of self-employment opportunities will be generated through the training courses. The training will be given to the young students, whose age ranged between 16 and 30 and the Malaysian company will give a technical grant of $12 million to Punjab Government to fund this training.
The young students will have permission to premium learning accounts for one year and government will provide all facilities to local and international technology companies to support this training program.
