Punjab Offers Free COMSATS University Education for Workers Children
Punjab Chief Minister has unveiled a new initiative offering free higher education to the children of registered industrial and mine workers throughout the province. The students can get latest updates of Punjab Offers Free COMSATS University Education for Workers Children.
Full Tuition Support Announced for Eligible Students
According to the official announcement, qualifying students will be granted admission to COMSATS University in Islamabad and its seven additional campuses located in Abbottabad, Wah Cantt, Attock, Lahore, Sahiwal, and Vehari. The Punjab government will fully fund all tuition costs under this scheme.
Applications Now Open Through Workers Welfare Fund
Following the Chief Minister’s directive, the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund has begun accepting applications for the program. In addition to current workers, children of workers who are disabled or have passed away are also eligible for the full tuition benefit.
Application deadlines vary depending on the campus:
- Islamabad: July 9
- Lahore: July 17
- Wah Cantt and Abbottabad: August 4
- Vehari and Attock: August 11
- Sahiwal: August 15
