In recent days, the searing heat has made learning conditions difficult, particularly in densely packed classrooms. Many private schools, especially those located in five-marla structures in urban centers like Lahore, are struggling without basic necessities like fans, safe drinking water, or proper ventilation systems.
Rural Students Endure Harsh Midday Heat
Students in remote districts are also enduring unbearable midday temperatures. The issue is compounded by substandard school buildings that do not comply with construction norms, leaving children exposed to hazardous heat in environments that lack proper infrastructure.
