Punjab Launches Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence in Remote Areas
The Punjab government has unveiled plans to establish Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence in the province’s remote areas, aiming to provide high-quality education to students from underprivileged backgrounds. The students can get the latest updates of Punjab Launches Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence in Remote Areas.
Project Coverage and Applications
A total of 165 tehsils across Punjab have been identified for this initiative. Private educational institutions with modern infrastructure are invited to apply for the opportunity to host a Nawaz Sharif School of Eminence. The deadline for submitting applications is November 14, and only schools meeting the specified criteria will be considered eligible.
Support for Students
Students attending these schools will benefit from free education, with the Punjab government offering a monthly tuition support of Rs4,000 per student.
Monitoring and Quality Assurance
The Punjab Education Foundation PEF will be responsible for supervising the schools, ensuring they maintain high standards and deliver quality education.
Objective of the Initiative
Officials emphasized that this program is designed to promote equal access to education and enhance learning outcomes in less-developed regions of Punjab, contributing to the overall upliftment of educational standards.
