Punjab Launches Initiative to Strengthen Punjab Languages in Schools
The Punjab government has introduced a new program aimed at encouraging the use of Punjabi language, literature, and respectful communication in public schools throughout the province. The students can check the fresh updates of Punjab Govt Launches Initiative to Strengthen Regional Languages in Schools.
Promoting Punjabi, Saraiki, and Pothohari in Education
Under this initiative, students will be guided to use polite expressions such as “Tusi” and “Assi,” while refraining from informal or inappropriate language. The program also highlights the importance of Saraiki and Pothohari languages, particularly in schools located in southern and northern Punjab.
School principals have been instructed to organize activities in these regional languages and record videos of students speaking in Punjabi or other local languages. These recordings will be shared in official CEO groups, and school heads must submit progress reports to ensure proper implementation of the initiative.
