Punjab Introduces Revised Winter Timings for Schools
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced through his official Facebook page that all schools across the punjab will follow new winter timings in view of the approaching cold season. Under the revised schedule, schools will open at 8:45 a.m. and close at 1:30 p.m., ensuring better safety and comfort for students during chilly mornings as temperatures continue to decline across Punjab. Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat Confirms Updated Winter Schedule
Although an official notification has not yet been issued, the Punjab School Education Department is expected to release it soon, after which the new timings will be implemented immediately. The education minister continues to actively share information regarding educational reforms and administrative developments through his social media channels, keeping teachers, students, and parents well-informed.
This decision aligns with past practices, where similar timing adjustments were made during previous winters to help students avoid early morning cold and maintain a conducive learning environment.
