Punjab HED Plans Student Support Counseling Units in Public Colleges
The Higher Education Department HED of Punjab has decided to introduce dedicated counseling units in public sector colleges to support students in various aspects of their academic and personal lives. This initiative is intended to strengthen students’ character, enhance their mental wellbeing, and equip them with the skills needed for a successful future. The students can get the latest updates of Punjab HED Plans Student Support Counseling Units in Public Colleges.
Establishment of Guidance and Wellbeing Centers for Students in Government Colleges
Officials have shared that these counseling centers will offer around 13 different types of services, including mental health assistance and guidance related to social and economic challenges faced by students.
In addition, the program will focus on educating students about important areas such as personal health, hygiene practices, and academic awareness to ensure their balanced growth.
The centers will also provide career counseling, information about job prospects, skill-building opportunities, and professional development programs. These services are expected to help students make informed choices and better prepare for real-world challenges.
