Punjab Govt Suggests 50 Percent Attendance in Schools
Lahore, The Government of the Punjab is considering the suggestion that 50% attendance may be allowed in the schools. Due to increasing number of corona cases in Pakistan, the COVID-19 situation is becoming worse. The vaccination process of the older students and adults is being carried out and most of the students over the age of 12 years have completed their vaccination and most of the schools have implemented the corona SOPs, which can help in avoiding this pandemic. The students under age of 12 years have not been vaccinated yet. The government is pondering on this suggestion and Punjab Govt Suggests 50% Attendance in Schools for the students under 12 years of age.
National Command and Operation Center has decided that they will finalize new COVID-19 SOPs after making consultation with the provinces and these new Corona Protocols will be implemented in areas, where corona cases are 10% or more all over the country. The NCOC will also consult the suggestion for 50% attendance in the schools in all areas of the country.
