Punjab Govt Health App Launch for School Children

Punjab government is making the plan to introduce the customized school app in order to promote health and hygiene among the students of the schools in Punjab province.

Punjab Govt Health App Launch for School Children after the orders of the Punjab health Minister, Dr Yasmeen Rashid and initially this health app will be launched in 12 selected schools. There will be 6 boys schools and 6 girls schools and the students of the selected schools will be screened. They will undergo the medical treatment and the medical tests of eyes, skin, ear, nose, throat and teeth. The government has developed this app with the help of Education Department and Policy and Strategic Planning Unit (PSPU). The medical test will be carried out after the permission of the parents of the children. This medical facility will be provided to the students, who are malnourished and it will help them to get different health targets.

It is also necessary to mention that most of the students may not have the access to the smart phone, then how they will get information about this program. The health minister said that the Memorandum of Understanding have been signed between health department and Social education department to launch the program and lay down the ground work.
