Punjab Govt Extends Deadline for CM Laptop Scheme Applications
The Punjab government has announced an extension for applications under the Chief Minister Punjab Laptop Program. Students can now submit their applications through the official online portal until February 28, 2026. Initially expanded to include students from private universities, the scheme allows eligible candidates to apply based on academic performance. Students enrolled in private universities who have secured at least 65% marks are now also eligible to receive a free laptop.
The government stated that this initiative is designed to enhance access to digital resources for higher education students across Punjab. Officials have urged students to complete their applications before the new deadline to avoid any issues.
